The bag is designed to minimize the effects of a Li-Po battery failure (e.g., short circuit or puncture). However, it does not guarantee 100% protection from all consequences of a malfunction. The most important thing is always to follow all safety rules related to handling Li-Po battery packs. In the event of a battery catching fire, the bag’s task is to reduce the amount of air around it and thereby smother the flames.
Never leave a charging Li-Po battery unattended, and never place a battery (even inside this protective bag) on a flammable surface. Always make sure that the protective bag is fully closed when the battery is inside.
